Mind Station offers a range of quality programming focused on positivity and well-being. The phenomenal response to our launch took us by surprise and as a result we're now looking to expand our schedule and are looking for talented, enthusiastic volunteers to join our team.
VOLUNTEER PRESENTERS
Have you got a natural ability to engage with people and would LOVE to have your own radio show? We're looking for talented volunteer presenters who can produce and present unique, stand-out voice-tracked programming that our listeners will want to tune in to.
The positions are home studio based. You'll voice track your engaging, featured content using Myriad 5 Anywhere Cloud (We provide access to the online studio, all the music, ads, and content). The opportunity to broadcast live will be available following a successful introduction period. You'll also post engaging content, relevant to your show, on our social media channels.
What you'll be doing;
- Presenting voice tracked and live radio shows.
- Introducing entertaining features.
- Creating engaging content.
- Promoting the station on our social media.
- Working with other members of the team to produce high-quality programming.
What we're looking for;
- Willing to produce at least one 2-hour show each week.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A passion for radio.
- Experience in presenting.
- Experience in creating engaging content.
- Social media savvy.

ADVERTISING MANAGER
Are you an excellent communicator who can spare a few hours each week?
We're looking for a volunteer Advertising Manager who can help us generate the vital revenue needed to keep Mind Station on air. Being a not-for-profit organisation, we rely on advertising and sponsorship to pay for our licenses, equipment, music costs, and other outgoings.
What you'll be doing;
- Creating relationships with businesses and small businesses owners.
- Offering our outstanding advertising and sponsorship packages.
- Working with our Social Media Manager to create sales leads.
- Promote the benefits of show sponsorship and advertising.
- Work with other members of the team to maximise income.
What we're looking for;
- Willing to offer a couple of hours each week.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A passion for supporting our volunteer efforts.
- Experience in advertising sales preferred but not essential.
